Metadata Cascade Policy on a Folder
AnsweredHi,
Can someone help me to apply Metadata Cascade Policy on a folder thru Curl request. I was using following link, https://developer.box.com/reference#create-metadata-schema. Where we have "Create Metadata Cascade Policy [BETA]". I passed folderId, scope and templateKey, but I was getting "403 Forbidden error" though Metadata Cascade Policy was enabled for my enterprise Id.
Hope it will get it resolve by some of you guys help, Thanks in Advance.

First, I'd double check to make sure you're environment has the feature enabled, because I was told that it was for my instance and it actually wasn't. Email ***email address removed for privacy*** and have them check for you.
Second, I had to use Postman (https://www.getpostman.com) with the prebuilt Box collection to get the cascade policy to work properly, I couldn't do it form the dev console. If need help setting up postman like I did you'll find some helpful videos on setting it up at youtube (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=box+postman).

Hi,
For my environment Metadata Cascade Policy was already enabled. Problem I was getting because of some integration changes done by Box in back end. Now everything is in place and I'm able to create metadata cascade policy and apply on a folder. Thanks for your response:).
