• Is there an option to create a folder with a retention policy (e.g. Any file in the folder will auto-delete after 3 days)
• Is there a way to set an auto-delete / expire on a file through the API?

  Yes, you can create and assign retention policies via the API:

  This feature is only available to enterprises that have purchased Governance.
