Upload file to folder via shared link - without login

I'm trying to upload a file to folder, for which I have created a shared link with Box API request.

I can only view and download files, but cannot upload.

Is there a way to upload files as an external user? (without login)

  The only way to upload files would be to provide them with a file request link instead of a shared link: 

  • how to generate via UI
  • how to generate via API

  I also would like an answer to this question. I would like to share a folder with a large group of people so they can upload pictures, and I want to use the share link instead of sending eac person an individual email invite to box. Is it possible to add "uploader" to the share link settings?
