Video representation - difference between mp4 and filmstrip
AnsweredHello can you please tell me whats the difference between the "mp4" and "filmstrip" representation for videos?
Also can you tell me more regarding the representation resolutions for video? Which one should we use to get maximum available resolution (besides DASH and HLS which we do not currently process)?
Thank you!

Hi Reinhard
The MP4 is a video representation whereas the filmstrip is a jpeg representation. I believe the MP4 representation is the only other option if you cannot use DASH and HLS. The MP4 is a compressed version of the original video file which aims for a 640x640 resolution taking into account aspect ratios.
