We have released the ability to support 21 CFR Part 11 e-signatures in Box Sign.
Prior to this release, Box could only be configured to help maintain 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for electronic records by enabling a combination of data management features, including access controls, user authentication, user and Admin reporting, file retention, trash controls, audit trails, and file version history.
Now, Box will enable customers with support for 21 CFR Part 11 e-signatures within Box Sign as part of our GxP Validation offering. Admins can select which users or groups have access to 21 CFR Part 11 workflow settings within Box Sign.
The entire 21 CFR Part 11 workflow process is now automated for senders and signers, providing a seamless and simplified e-signature experience to support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements without the need for expensive third party authentication transactions or standalone deployment modules.
