We are happy to announce that we are working on completing GxP validation coverage for the entire set of Box Governance capabilities. This is a culmination of a series of prioritized efforts to deliver coverage for Governance features following the launch of Box GxP Validation in early 2018. With this in place, Life Sciences organizations can leverage any of the Box Governance capabilities and policies, as part of their processes and workflows involving regulated content such as clinical research, drug development etc. For instance, setting a retention policy on an approved SOP or allowlisting specific external Contract Research Organizations (CRO) to collaborate on clinical trials.
In this final phase of GxP Validation coverage for Box Governance features, we are:
- Adding coverage for legal holds, content security policies, compliance email archive and collaboration allowlisting.
- Adding roughly 50 new tests to the Automated Testing Tool (ATT) to test these features. The ATT runs twice daily and helps assure a continued state of compliance.
- Updating the baseline Validation Accelerator Pack (VAP) so customers can maintain documentation to show compliance of their Box instance including their use of any Box Governance capabilities.
