We released read-only fields and the ability to prefill fields in Box Sign. Prefilling fields enables senders with the ability to prefill data within specific fields prior to sending documents out for signature. With read-only fields, senders can lock field data and prevent it from being modified by anyone during a signature request once it has been filled out by an assigned signer.
Additionally, senders can pre-populate data into read-only fields when leveraging Box Sign APIs for prefill tags or the batch send feature, when inputting data into the custom CSV before sending the document out for signature. Template tags will support read-only fields as well.
