Box Governance allows organizations to manage their content’s lifecycle by powering business processes with flexible retention schedules, preserving content for defensible discovery, and managing the disposition of content. We are excited to share the following enhancements to our Box Governance reports:

New Disposition Report. This new report will allow Box Admins to easily see what content is going to be disposed of within a specific timeframe of their interest (eg. content that will be disposed of in the next 30 days, 3 months, or a custom data range). This enhancement will give admins more visibility into content nearing expiration and the snapshot of upcoming dispositions will help prevent the loss of valuable content.

Enhancements to the Files and Folders Report. We have added 3 new columns to the Files and Folders report: retention start date, disposition date, and disposition action. This enhancement will provide admins greater visibility into what content is retained, when content will be disposed, and what action will be executed at the end of retention period.
Box is also making additional disposition enhancements, including updates to disposition notifications to create a better user experience and scalability enhancements around disposition actions.
