Box Governance allows organizations to manage their content’s lifecycle by powering business processes with flexible retention schedules, preserving content for defensible discovery, and managing the disposition of content.
Last year, we released modifiable retention policies to provide flexibility as external regulatory environments or internal governance policies change, allowing customers to implement retention policies with the ability to modify them later.
We continued to expand our retention capabilities and now give admins the ability to create retention polices targeting Box Shield classifications. This feature allows Box Admins to properly retain and dispose of content based on Shield classification labels applied to that content for both modifiable and non-modifiable retention policies.
