Email bounced and seems to be on suppression list

I was changing a user's email address, but inadvertently click to change email before it was properly set up on Office 365. It now seems to be on a suppression list since trying to resend the verification email doesn't work. Is there any way this email can be removed from the suppression list so that I can get this verification email to be sent and received? Thanks
