We are excited to announce the we have made the following enhancements to admin reporting and enterprise settings:

Metadata column in the Folders and Files Report: We've enhanced the Folders and Files report with the option for admins to include a template-based custom metadata column. This column allows admins to keep track of how metadata is being used within their organization and help automate custom workflows/processes where applicable. For example, adding dates (execution date, expiration date, last review date) to trigger periodic document reviews. To learn more check out the Folders and Files support article.
- “Join Enterprise” invites configurable expiration dates: We’ve introduced a new control on the Enterprise Settings page that allows admins to configure how they want their organization’s “Join Enterprise” invites to expire. There are several options to choose from with shorter or longer durations. However, the Box Security Team always recommends the shortest expiration possible to maintain Box instance security. - ‘Include Subfolders’ Toggle for User Activity Reports: We’ve enhanced the User Activity Report by adding a new ‘Include Subfolders’ toggle. Now Admins can execute the report against the entire folder, including all files and subfolders within.
