As part of Box’s continued dedication to help individuals and teams collaborate and do their best work, we are excited to announce updated search functionality for Box web app. These filters and quick search enhancements are geared towards making searching for files and folders a more responsive, accessible, and intuitive experience.
The updates themselves include:

A new filter panel that displays all filter options on the right-hand side of the window. Content can be filtered by keyword, type, date updated, tags, metadata, and more.

Quick filter options where users can narrow down their search for content using the most commonly used filters

Quick search results categorized by folders and files to make it easier to see the results
