Overview of Problem
Box for EMM should not be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store. Doing so will result in login failures due to missing App Configuration details required for Mobile Device Management (MDM) setup. You will see error messages indicating login failure.
Process for Resolution
- Check with Internal IT Team:
- Verify if Box for EMM is configured and enabled for your company’s Box account.
- If enabled, request IT to make it available in the App Catalogue or push it to your device.
- If Not Configured:
- Have a Box Administrator contact their Box representative for next steps.
Outcome
- Box for EMM will be properly configured and available through your company’s MDM provider.
- You will be able to log in successfully without encountering error messages.
