In this article, you will learn how to alter the look and feel of your account to match your corporate branding.
Custom branding, available on Business, Business Plus, Enterprise, and Enterprise Plus accounts, enables you to swap out Box's standard color scheme for your very own, better situating internal and external users alike in your new account.
To set up custom branding on your account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account and navigate to the Admin Console.
- In the left pane, click Enterprise Settings.
- At the top of the page, click Custom Setup.
Your options on the Custom Setup screen are:
Company Profile: Here you can include your company internal display name and designate a custom URL
Custom Settings: Here you can upload your company’s logo and customize your account’s color scheme. Your logo and colors will replace the Box defaults for managed users and shared links. Enter in specific Web hex color codes. When you're done, click Save.
You can also add custom text, contact information, a system email signature, and a login page. The latter enables you to create a message your managed users see on your company’s unique Box login portal:
Embed Widget Customization: The Box Embed Widget enables managed users to embed files and folders from their Box accounts into another Web site. The security settings on those files and folders persist, so you can maintain your level of security. By default, the Embed Widget contains the Box logo, as any custom branding settings do not apply to the embed widget. However, you can remove the Box logo by disabling it.
File Version Limit: Box keeps track of all file versions, and you can refer or revert to a prior version of a file at any time. Here you can limit the number of file versions Box saves. Get more information on file version history settings.
Branding new File Requests
Box also enables you to apply default custom branding to new File Requests. After selecting a color option for your company's logo, all File Requests created afterward display your company's logo with the color scheme you chose. To add the logo and brand color to previous File Requests, however, you'll need to individually modify these File Requests.
To apply default custom branding to new File Requests:
- In the admin console's left sidebar, click Enterprise Settings.
- At the top of the window, click Content & Sharing.
- In the File Request section, select the color scheme with which to display your company's logo.
- In the top of the admin console window, click Save.
