This is a Windows only patch of Box Drive v2.1.106 which blocks Sedlauncher.exe, a new process introduced in a recent Windows 10 update. This process's actions result in Box Drive downloading more information than necessary, resulting in high CPU and RAM utilization on user's computers, Windows Explorer hangs/crashes, as well as negative impact to Box Drive's performance.
If you have been affected by this issue, we recommend that you update to Box Drive v2.1.107 and re-login to Box Drive after updating in order to immediately clear the downloaded content and restore Box Drive performance.
Due to the critical nature of this issue, Box Drive v2.1.107 will be marked as a critical update and all Windows users logged into Box Drive will see prompts to update.
