File restrictions define which file types users can upload when submitting a form in Box Forms. This feature is essential for enterprises that need to limit file uploads to approved formats or prevent unsupported files from entering their content management system when collecting files using Box Forms.
Configuring File Restrictions
Admins and end users who have been enabled to use Box Forms can set allowed file types during the form design process. By specifying permitted extensions, you can tailor each form to accept only relevant documents, images, or other files as required by your organization.
