Box Notes now includes a set of powerful enhancements designed to make writing, navigating, and collaborating faster and more intuitive.
Anchored links let you link directly to specific sections of a note internally and externally, while collapsible headers help you organize long documents and focus on what matters most. Inline code formatting makes it easier to document technical details clearly, and you can use either ``, a styling button in the header, a shortcut, or simply copy-paste the inline code from other apps or web pages. The new Undo/Redo buttons provide quick, visible control over recent edits. You can also open a note in a new tab by using Ctrl/Cmd + click for improved multitasking and share content more easily with URL-based shared links that you copy directly directly from the browser every time after the shared link has been created once.
To improve reliability and give you more working space, Box Notes is also introducing an updated Saving/Saved button - now located in the bottom of left side panel, giving clear feedback on save status and ensuring your work is always up to date. Together, these updates streamline navigation, reduce friction during editing, and enhance collaboration—making Box Notes an even more flexible workspace for teams and individuals alike.
