We're rolling out a series of small but mighty feature updates designed to make your daily experience in Box Notes faster, cleaner, and more powerful. Here’s what’s new:
- Inline image cropping — Crop images directly within your Note by selecting the image and dragging the corners or edges to adjust size, the image will automatically rescale to fit to size. You can also adjust the image within the frame manually through the “adjust” button that appears at the top right of the image when selected.
- Slash menu with filtering — Type
/to quickly access a menu to insert tables, callouts, inline AI chats, and more. Start typing the item name to select what you need quickly
- Datepicker — A new option in the Slash menu to insert dates directly into the Note
- Redesigned quick search — Find your Notes faster with a sleek, refreshed search experience
- Streamlined menus — The "Settings" and "More options" menus have been merged into one, creating a cleaner, less cluttered interface. Click on the three dots (ellipses) in the top right to access all your options
- Keyboard Shortcuts — An improved display of keyboard shortcuts helps you move through your work even faster. Find the full list of keyboard shortcuts through the “More options” menu
