We are introducing a seamless integration between the inline AI composer and the sidebar in Box Notes, bringing a unified and continuous AI experience directly to your workspace. Regardless of whether you access Box AI through the inline composer or the sidebar, your conversation history is now kept as a single AI session history.
- Inline view: displays only the inline turns to keep your workspace light, focused, and easy to navigate.
- Sidebar view: displays the entire session history across both access points, clearly labeling which turns occurred inline.
To ensure a smooth experience, you can only have one active turn in progress per note. While one view is waiting on a response, you will not be able to submit a new prompt in the other view.
For Enterprise Plus and Enterprise Advanced customers, the inline AI composer is also fully integrated with the Box Agent, bringing the complete power, intelligence, and contextual-awareness of the Box Agent to Notes as you type. You’ll be able to seamlessly use its deep, context-aware assistance, personalized content generation, and intelligent workflows that understand your enterprise content and preferences while editing and creating content inline.
