We're rolling out new improvements to the Box web experience that make it easier to view and navigate your content.
Rotate PDF/Docs in preview
You can now rotate PDFs and documents directly in preview. The change applies to your current view and doesn't affect the original file. With this update, you can rotate individual pages in 90° increments directly from the preview toolbar. The rotation will persist throughout your preview session and does not affect the original file. Preview thumbnails of pages in preview will also reflect the rotation changes for a consistent viewing experience. Annotations will also stay aligned when a PDF is rotated, so comments and markups remain anchored to the correct content.
Pinch to zoom
Preview now supports pinch-to-zoom gestures on touch-enabled devices. Whether you're reviewing a dense spreadsheet, a detailed diagram, or a multi-page document, you can zoom in and out naturally. It's a small change that makes a real difference when you're working with content that requires a closer look.
Simplified top header navigation
We've streamlined the top navigation in the Box web app to reduce clutter and make it easier to find what you need. The updated header is cleaner and more focused, so you spend less time orienting yourself and more time getting work done. Tasks and notifications are now combined into one activity inbox, with filters to view each type separately.
