We're excited to announce we are making improvements to Legal Hold and Data Retention reports in Box Governance! These enhancements will allow Box Admins to experience improved performance on our new reporting infrastructure.
A Legal Hold report will export a list of all the file versions currently being held by an active legal hold. We will soon release the following enhancements to the legal hold report:

Further optimization: your legal hold report will generate much faster

Scalability enhancements: you can run report for billions of records, report format changed from XLSX to CSV

Full Parent Folder Path Names and IDs

Additional “Trashed” column (indicating if a file is in trash or not)
A Retention report exports details of a particular retention policy, along with a list of all of the file versions the policy covers and the disposition date for each version. We will soon release the following enhancements to the retention report:
