Box enables you to insert various emojis and symbols into your Box Notes by typing commonly used character combinations.
This feature is available on all supported platforms.
Using Emojis and Symbols
To insert an emoji or symbol, type in the selected character combination and press space key. Box automatically changes the text to an emoji or symbol.
List of Emojis and Symbols
Consult the table below for a list of available emojis and symbols.
You can also access this list from Box Notes settings menu:
1. Click the Settings button in the bottom left corner of Box Notes.
2. Select Emoji shortcuts from the list.

Deleting Emojis and Symbols
To remove an emoji or symbol, do one of the following:
- On Mac: Press Cmd and Z at the same time.
- On Windows: press Ctrl and Z buttons at the same time.
- Press the backspace button to revert an emoji or symbol to text. To remove it completely, keep pressing the backspace button until all characters are deleted.
