This document describes an advanced tool that is not available to all users by default..
Azure Files is a cloud provider operating from portal.azure.com. To set it up as a source system for Shuttle, you need your Account Name and an Access Key to authorize your Azure File system. For more information on setting up Access Keys for authorization, see this documentation.
Set up Azure Files as source system
-
- Provide a unique name for the job.
- Select Azure Files.
- Provide the Account Name.
This is the name of your storage account, which should be listed in the upper left corner of your home screen when you log into portal.azure.com. It is usually also the name for your Microsoft tenant. -
Provide the Access Key.
To get the Access Key, select Access Keys from the sidebar in the home screen of your Azure Storage Account. Any key listed should provide access to your Azure File storage.
For best results, use default permissions when creating the keys used for your Azure Files adapter. Reducing permissions can block the adapter from accessing and transferring your data.
