Shared links are often sent to colleagues and collaborators via emails that will sometimes be opened from a user's mobile email application (i.e. GMail, iOS Mail App, etc). By default, these links will open in the Safari browser rather than the Box mobile app. Only clicking on "Open in App" in the browser will allow the user to view the link in the Box for iOS app.
Note: On iOS 18+, by default these links will redirect the user to the Box mobile app. The following steps only apply to iOS versions prior to version 18.

Troubleshooting Steps
In order to set Shared Links to open in the Box for iOS app by default, follow the steps below:
- Open an email in your email app that contains a Box Shared Link.
- Press and hold down on the Shared Link until an iOS menu appears.
- Select "Open in Box" from the menu.
From that point on, all shared links will automatically open in the Box mobile app.
