Overview of Problem
When trying to save files to Box for iOS or Box for EMM from Office applications or attempting to attach a file from Box to an Outlook message, you may receive the following error message. This issue occurs due to the Files application integration in iOS 11+, which does not support app-specific passwords. This affects users trying to access Box files from Office apps.
Process for Resolution
- Open the Box application on your iOS device.
- Navigate to the settings menu.
- Locate the passcode settings.
- Disable the passcode for the Box application.
Outcome
