Overview of Problem
When a user marks a file or folder for offline use on Box for iOS and the item is updated from another device or by another user, the initial user will see a prompt to “Update” next to the item. This ensures that users are not working on outdated content and is expected behavior.
Process for Resolution
- Open the Box for iOS app.
- Navigate to the file or folder marked for offline use.
- If the item has been updated, you will see an “Update” prompt next to it.
- Select “Update” to download the new version of the item.
Outcome
- The new version of the file or folder will be downloaded.
- You will now have the latest version of the item available for offline use.
