Box for Salesforce users may see the error message "An error has occurred while loading this feature" when attempting to create shared links or create subfolders:
Root Cause
This error is caused by a Box for Salesforce admin setting. The error above will be returned if the "Box Enterprise sub-domain" field is blank or if your Box administrator has changed your subdomain on Box but has not updated the subdomain in Salesforce:
Resolution
To resolve this error, please work with your Salesforce System Administrator to review and update the "Box Enterprise sub-domain" field in the "Box Settings" tab accordingly. The "Box Enterprise sub-domain" field should be updated with your enterprise's subdomain (e.g. subdomain.app.box.com).
