A sandbox environment is essential for software development and ensures code is tested in a safe environment before landing in production. In addition, sandbox is a safe place to test settings for admins. Today, Box offers up to 10 sandboxes per enterprise that is provisioned by admins in the admin console.
To make it easier to get started with sandboxes, we are introducing 2 new features to improve the sandbox creation experience.
You will soon be able to:
Create a new sandbox with your admin or co-admin’s primary email address. Previously, users had to enter a unique email address during the sandbox creation flow. After this update, users can enter the admin or co-admin's primary email address as well as add an external email as a co-admin to the sandbox.
Synchronize Add-ons and Plans across sandbox and production EIDs. An admin can choose to sync both environments by clicking the “sync” button.
