Certain notifications may not get sent, may be delayed, or may be sent multiple times. Notification types that may exhibit this behavior include:
- Send preview/download/upload collaboration by email
- Item deleted by collaborator
- File comment/mention
- User deleted and content transferred
- Tasks
Preview notifications are currently not available.
The root cause is a known issue in the legacy Box notification service. Box is currently updating its notification service, and the issues with these specific notifications should be resolved when they are migrated to the new service.
