We’re introducing two new security features in Box Hubs designed to give you greater control over how Hubs and content are shared, helping teams collaborate confidently while maintaining the right safeguards.
Restrict public shared links for Hubs
Hub co-owners can now restrict whether a Hub can be shared using a public shared link. This makes it easier to prevent unintended external access and ensure Hubs are only shared in ways that align with your organization’s security policies.
For added control, this setting is also available to admins via global presets, allowing you to enforce consistent sharing behavior across all Hubs in your organization.
Remove content from the Collaborators page
Owners and co-owners of content can now remove their content in a Hub from the Collaborators page. This gives content owners more control over where their files are surfaced, while still allowing Hubs to be used as a curated experience.
Together, these updates help ensure Hubs remain a secure, intentional way to organize and share content without compromising visibility or control.
