Hub pages will soon support multi-column layouts, so content can sit side by side instead of in one long vertical stack. Hub owners and editors can arrange blocks into two- or three-column sections, choose how wide each column is, and mix layout sections with full-width blocks anywhere on a page. This makes
content-heavy Hubs, like intranets, brand centers, and knowledge bases, shorter to scroll and easier to scan.
- In Edit mode, open the Layouts tab in the add-content panel and choose a layout, then fill in the placeholder blocks. Or drag any block to the left or right edge of another block to create a column beside it.
- Drag the divider between columns to adjust their widths.
- Drag blocks to reorder them within a column, move them between columns or sections, or move them out of a layout.
Any block type can be placed in a column. Some Files & Folders views need more room than a narrow
column provides, so Grid is not available in two-column sections, and Large List and Large Grid are not
available in three-column sections.
In narrow browser windows, columns stack into a single column in reading order, and in the Box mobile apps, multi-column sections display as a single column. Existing Hubs keep their current layout until an editor adds a layout, and no admin configuration for this feature is required.
