Note: Box Hubs is currently available in beta. Box Hubs is available in Enterprise plans and above.
External collaboration is coming to Box Hubs. Now, when you’re ready to share a Hub, you can add external collaborators to view a Hub. Hubs that have external collaborators will have a globe icon shown in both the Hub name and the Hubs gallery page.

Please note, adding an external collaborator to a Hub will automatically allow the external collaborator to view all files and folders in a Hub, even if any of these files or folders have an external collaboration restriction.
A few FAQs:
How will I know if a Hub has an external collaborator?
The Hub will have the gray globe icon or globe icon + external label next to the Hub name.
Why is there a globe icon next to my Hub name?
There is a globe icon next to the hub name in the hub gallery and the Hub header because there is at least one external collaborator added to the Hub.
Can external users see my content in the Hub?
Yes, external collaborators can see content in the Hub. The exception is if you are using Shield classifications. External users are blocked from seeing content in the Hub if you have a Shield classification that blocks all new and existing external collaborators
How do I change permissions for collaborators on a Hub?
To change a collaborator's permissions in Hubs, you need to go through the “manage collaborators” page. From there you can see who currently has access, and see if a user was added via a Hub. The same goes for removing a collaborator from a Hub.
Does the external collaborator also need to have Hubs enabled in their enterprise in order to see my Hub?
An external collaborator will not need Hubs enabled in their own enterprise to access a Hub from another enterprise. However, if that external collaborator does not have Hubs enabled in their own enterprise, they will only be able to access the Hub from the URL, and not through the Hubs gallery.
To learn more about Hubs permissions, please see the permissions section on this page.
