We updated the field properties and settings menu within document preparation experience in Box Sign. This change moved the field properties and settings from a floating pop-up modal to the right-hand properties panel. This enhancement gives users a more stationary method for modifying field properties while also providing an unobstructed view of the document preparation experience when preparing signature requests or creating and modifying reusable templates
Previously, field settings appeared within a pop-up modal directly over the document preparation experience and, as we expanded field configuration options, this pop-up became more difficult to manage and could be cut off on screen, making editing feel cramped and less predictable. With this release, most these field settings will appear in the side panel instead, so users will be able to review and update properties without losing visibility into the document itself, providing a smoother document preparation experience for both signature requests and templates.
