Issue
When a tenant administrator invites a free user to Enterprise, the invited user may be able to log in but not see the confirmation dialog to join Enterprise.
Root Cause
This issue is caused by the invited user’s Account Settings. Specifically, if the user’s Home Page setting is configured to a page other than Files, the Enterprise invitation confirmation dialog does not automatically appear at login by default.
Resolution
The invited free user must update their home page setting as described below.
- Update the Home Page Setting
- Log in to Box and open Account Settings.
- Under General Options, change Home Page to Files.
- Display the Confirmation Dialog
- Log out of Box after updating the setting and log back in, or manually navigate to the Files page. After completing these steps, the Enterprise invitation confirmation dialog will appear.
