Unable to update Box or uninstall Box
My Box drive is stuck in a situation that the Box icon is stating the following:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click Ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package Box 2 19.292.msi in the box below.
I am unable to sync to my box drive or access anything on that remote drive. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue.
Thanks William Lee.

Instructions from Box.
I ran the first 2 items and Microsoft uninstaller was perfect on getting rid of my old box install
I understand you have tried reinstalling Box Drive on your machine and an error appears. However, I would like to ask to you uninstall then reinstall the application on your machine following these articles:

And if the issue persists, I would like to have you run the Windows fix it script (for install/uninstall issues):
Once you have run the Windows fix it script, please restart you computer again. Then try to uninstall and reinstall Box Drive. - https://community.box.com/t5/

Hi, the last link worked after hours of manually removing files and deleting the folders and reg keys I was eventually able to re-install Box after running the Windows Fix Script.
The issue I had was the installer kept trying to find an older version of the Box .msi file
Thanks William C Lee.

I am having the same issue and am unable to uninstall 4.16.0.910...keep getting told to look for a directory that doesnt exist. I have shredded the registry, removed everything from folders and no other accounts have this issue...dont know what else to do and the link up above is broken. This has actually happened now to 5 users at our company and the prior four were able to have it removed after completely shredding apart the machines. This cannot continue for us...any advice on how to swiftly remove that version?

Nathan, as you can see from my comment above. The only thing that worked for me was to run the Windows Fix Script using the link provided by William.
For me, it was the install/deinstall script that was corrupt and wouldn't allow me to install the updated version of Box. Hope this helps.

All, one of our user had an issue with Box Drive, couldn't logon. And when I tried to uninstall to reinstall Box Drive. Error says it needed an old verison to uninstall. So I ripped out from the registry and removed from Program files and was still an issue. Last resort I downloaded from Microsoft (download troubleshooter) to remove installation. Select program you are having issue uninstall or installing.
