Occasionally clearing your browser's cache and cookies may help to eliminate common problems. To clear your cache, follow the steps below for your browser:
Mozilla Firefox:
- Once your browser is open click on "≡" located at the top right of the browser then click "History" and select "Clear Recent History".
- Remove checks from everything except "Cache" and "Cookies" which should be left checked.
- Choose "Everything" in the "Time Range to clean" dropdown.
- Click the "OK" or "Clear Now" button.
- Close and re-open your browser before returning to Box.
Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu and click on "Settings."
- Select "Privacy, search, and services." It should be the second option below the search bar.
- Scroll down until you reach "Clear Browsing Data" and select "Choose what to clear."
- A window will pop up that indicates the types of data saved by your browser. "Cached images and files" should be the fourth option.
- To fully empty your cache, select "All time."
- Once you’ve made your decision, click the blue "Clear now" button.
Google Chrome:
- Click the menu icon "≡" on the right end of the browser toolbar.
- Select "More Tools" > "Clear browsing data"
- Select the options for "Cached images and files" and "Cookies"
- Use the menu at the top to select "the beginning of time"
- Click "Clear browsing data"
- Close and re-open your browser before returning to Box.
Safari (Mac):
- Click on the Safari menu > Preferences
- Navigate to Privacy
- Click "Manage Website Data..." under Cookies and website data.
- Click Remove All
