Folders showing incorrect number of files
AnsweredAfter searching for a solution learned this is a systemic problem.
After moving files from folder to another... the original folder still shows the file count that was previously there..... although the files themselves are NOT.
IE: Folder count is 6 files/documents as these are processed they get moved to a "completed" file... they do MOVE, but the original file still shows the 6 files.. upon opening the file there are ZERO files. This should now show "0" files.
Please address this issue it was reported several times over the past 3 year and even up till 3 days ago. 2.20.2023... last comment the user is moving to DropBox... I don't want to do that.

Hi Ginger,
Welcome to Box Community!
My apologies for your trouble and I've ran the script to fix the number of files displayed in your folder.
This script will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your account. Sometimes Box caches previous file counts and storage amounts causing a data inconsistency. This is a known issue and is a long term project for our engineering team to tackle.
Hope it helps! Let us know how it goes.

Thank you Rona.... this did correct the problem we were having 4 days ago however is occurring again today.... Is it just a system issue that takes several days to "update"? I am attempting to use this as a part of my process of verification that documents are being processed... then followed up on and then moved to a permanent file....... however the temporary Processing File continues to show documents inside the folder when they have already been moved and upon opening the file there have in fact been moved even though the Folder Level still shows documents. If it is a time lag situation that will correct itself I just need to understand that. HOwever if we need to run a script every week how do I request that? I reiterate the comment from 3 years ago. Just looking for a fix :-). Thank you for your help.
