Can I run box drive as service, so I don't have to logon every time after the computer is reboot.
Currently I am using Box drive for some automated integration, however the Box drive stop working once after the server is reboot. Is it possible to keep the Box drive logon even after reboot.

Hi Alfred,
Welcome to the Box Community!
For what I know with how Box Drive works, as long as you are not logging out from the application it self, you should still be logged in even when you restart your computer. Though, I'm not quite sure if the automated integration you have working here maybe a factor.
May I know what server are you working with?

We have the same exact issue here.
France can you find out whether Box drive can be run as a service?
Or whom should we contact who would know the answer?Thank you!
Alfred Chow did you find a solution?

Hi Devang,
Can you check if the issue you encounter is similar to what is described in this post? https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4403006213907-Error-when-Running-Box-Drive-in-Session-0
I've previously reached out to one of our specialists regarding this questions, and they confirmed that Box Drive is not designed to be run as service.

This seems to be an ongoing issue with Box drive since version 2.18.
Anyone interested in the details and a possible workaround, please see this article: https://www.coretechnologies.com/blog/box-drive/windows-service-unable-to-start/
@France, can you help and try to see how we can escalate this issue and get it fixed in your next release?
Thank you!
