Slow upload and download speeds

Something is wrong with the upload/download speeds from Box. I am using Box from Google Chrome. Both download and upload speeds are about 8 mbps. I've noticed this for 3 days now. 

No, it's not my internet connection - I measured it and the internet speed is > 100 mbps. I cleared my browser cache and don't have extensions. Still the same issue. My laptop is up to date in terms of Windows and system updates. 

This seems like a Box problem. What changed?
