Adobe Express for Box

Adobe Express is a design, photo, and video tool that makes content creation easy. 
Adobe Express for Box enables you to edit images, and save those edits in Box, all without needing to download those files to your local device.

Enabling and Disabling Adobe Express for Box in your Organization

Box adds and enables Adobe Express for Box by default.  If you're the Box admin of your organization, you can disable Adobe Express for Box.  After disabling Adobe Express for Box, you can later re-enable it.

To disable or re-enable Adobe Express for Box:

  1. In the left sidebar of your admin console, click Integrations. 
  2. At the top of the Integrations window, click Box Integrations & Clients.
  3. Scroll down to Individual Integration Controls, and find Adobe Express for Box.
  4. Beside Adobe Express for Box, click the status, then select the status you want to apply.
  5. Click Save.

Enabling Adobe Express for Box for Specific People or Groups your Organization

If you're the Box admin of your organization, and Adobe Express for Box is enabled in your organization, you can enable Adobe Express for Box for specific Box account holders and specific groups in your organization. 

To enable Adobe Express for Box for specific Box account holders and specific groups:

  1. In the left sidebar of your admin console, click Integrations.
  2. At the top of the Integrations window, click Box Integrations & Clients.
  3. Scroll down to Individual Integration Controls, and find Adobe Express for Box.
  4. See this article.
  5. Click Save.

 

Accessing Adobe Express for Box in your Organization

If you're a Box account holder, and your Box admin has enabled Adobe Express for Box for your organization, you can access Adobe Express through your Box All Files window.

To access Adobe Express for Box:

  1. In your Box All Files window, open an image or video file.  Box displays the file in Preview mode.
  2. In the top of the Preview window, click Open, then select Adobe Express.  Box displays the file in the Adobe Express window.

Using Adobe Express for Box

All images that you edit and save with Adobe Express for Box are saved directy to a location in Box that you choose, and do not reside on the Adobe server.
