The Box Notification Center on Mobile displays a summary of notifications sent to you by Box, and by the people you work with. Notifications can include
- @mentions,
- collaboration invitations,
- shared link announcements,
- file annotations,
- task reminders, and
- updates on collaborator activities.
If you turn off auto-acceptance of incoming invitations, the Box Notification Center on Mobile enables you to accept or decline collaboration invitations. The Notification Center also displays invitations to enroll in two-factor authentication (2FA), accept Terms of Service, or set a strong password to access shared content.
With support on Android and iOS, the Box Notification Center enables you to review your workflow notifications on the go, so you can quickly and efficiently stay up-to-date on the work you're involved in.
Note
- Support on Android is coming soon for
- task notifications,
- accepting invitations to enroll in two-factor authentication (2FA),
- accepting Terms of Service, and
- accepting invitations to set a strong password.
- The Notification Center does not provide expiration notifications, but Box does send these notifications to you through email.
- The Notification Center does not support filtering of notifications.
