We are incredibly excited to announce Box Doc Gen for Salesforce, enabling teams to dynamically generate custom documents without leaving Salesforce, eliminating the need to manually create, modify, and process mission-critical documents, which can can be tedious, time-consuming, and error-prone, resulting in significant productivity drains.
As part of the Box for Salesforce managed package, Box Doc Gen will be configured to automatically select pre-configured Box Doc Gen templates from Box, merge data from Salesforce objects, and generate custom documents that can be instantly surfaced within Salesforce. When combined with Box Sign, teams will be able to automatically generate documents, send them for e-signature, and track the entire process all without leaving Salesforce.
Box Doc Gen will empower teams to automatically generate custom, error-free documents in a matter of seconds — reducing turnaround times, mitigating risk, and eliminating manual data entry while improving operational efficiency. With just a few clicks, you will be able to leverage data from Salesforce, and instantly generate accurate, custom documents based on dynamic templates that handle everything from conditional formatting and dynamic tables to custom images and arithmetic calculations.
With the Box Doc Gen for Salesforce, customers will be able to:
Leverage the Box Doc Gen Template Creator in Microsoft Word to create dynamic Box Doc Gen templates complete with conditional logic, calculations, dynamic formatting, tables, images, and more.
Accelerate Box Doc Gen template creation by leveraging JSON data from Salesforce.
Generate unlimited documents in Salesforce at no additional cost with the Enterprise Advanced plan.
Generated documents will be automatically formatted based on the Box Doc Gen template and data from Salesforce. This will enable everyone to address multiple use cases without the headache of manually configuring documents, inputting data, and incurring time consuming delays. documents that power it.

With Box for Salesforce, your content workflows are secure and seamless, empowering your team edit files, sign documents, collaborate internally and externally, and more. Our partnership with Salesforce has always centered around making your secure content easier to work with, we’re excited to continue this trend by bringing Admin delegated authorization to Admins using Box for Salesforce.
Previously, Box for Salesforce users had to authorize their account every time they logged in. With this new release, admins can navigate to the Admin Console and find authorize all, or select, organizations - making deployment faster and easier.
This feature requires admin activation and the most recent version of Box for Salesforce, which can be downloaded from AppExchange.

If you want to make work easier for your teams by empowering them to securely access and edit files, sign documents, and collaborate with internal colleagues as well as external partners and customers, Box for Salesforce is the answer.
Box UI Elements are pre-built UI components that all developers or admins to add elements of the main Box web application into their own applications. Previously, we had released Box UI components for all clouds exception Experience, now, they're available there too.
Coming soon, Box UI components will be even easier to embed in Salesforce Experience cloud. Salesforce Admins will soon have the ability to insert Box UI Elements directly into their workflows by utilizing our new set of packaged lightning web components, including:

Content Picker
This feature allows you to connect a Box Custom Application and associate Salesforce Experience Cloud permission sets to Box App Users. Your Custom Application will continue to consume Custom API call allocations.

Box aims to connect content across all our customer’s tech stack. We’re excited to announce a feature which highlights our commitment to providing seamless workflows which span multiple platforms and teams while securely servicing your critical use cases.
This update powers joint customers of Box, Salesforce, and Slack to connect Slack channels and Salesforce objects (such as opportunities, accounts, or cases) to the same mapped Box folder structures using a new invocable method for Salesforce Flow actions featured in our Salesforce Developer Toolkit.
The end result, is the ability to upload a file to a Slack channel, and have the same Box file, in the same Box folder, show up in Salesforce.
This is a major step in Box’s ability to bridge our customer’s workflow gaps, ensuring that their content is available across their entire tech stack, no matter where they work from. Whether you’re in the field uploading images to Slack, or in an office managing a Sales opportunity in Salesforce, Box creates a seamless and connected experience, keeping your content connected and available.
To use this feature, the most recent version of Box for Salesforce needs to be installed from the Salesforce AppExchange listing. Additionally, Box as the Custom Files Store for Slack is required to set up this feature. If interested, please reach out to your Box representative to connect with a Box for Salesforce SME.

Box for Salesforce brings all your Box content to life in Salesforce, enabling your to work with your content in any cloud. Last year, we announced Box Sign for Salesforce. Leveraging the power of Box Sign, customers can send Box files for e-signature from directly within Salesforce. Now, we’re excited to announce an update which will continue our practice of bringing in and improving on core Box features directly in Salesforce, creating a seamless, powerful, and secure experience for our joint customers.
Previously, customers could only send one file at a time, limiting how quickly they could send files for e-signature confirmation. Coming soon, users will now be able to select up to 10 documents to be sent for e-signature simultaneously, using Box Sign. The updated Box Sign for Salesforce integration will be generally available soon to customers on Box Business plans and above, and builds on a rich set of end-user features that makes collaborating with teams, partners, and customers easy and efficient.

Box for Salesforce brings all your Box content to life in Salesforce. We’re excited to announce an update which will continue our practice of bringing more core Box features directly to Salesforce, improving the user experience, and offering a more seamless experience.
Coming soon, the embedded Box UI will receive an update to the main Box Lightning Component (pictured below).
This will not require any updates, or action from you to go into effect. The changes are being made on our end, and will not include any additional changes, or affect your version of the Salesforce managed package. We are dedicated to providing the best experience possible for all Box and Salesforce users, and will continue to bring more of Box directly to where you work, to create a seamless user experience.

We are excited to announce our first set of Q2 feature releases for Box for Salesforce! This update adds Box Metadata and Cascading Policy management to our Salesforce Developer Toolkit and as invocable methods for Salesforce Flow actions, making it easier than ever for Salesforce Admins and developers to leverage metadata to their Box content in Salesforce!
Through our Developer Tookit and as invocable methods:
Box metadata will allow Box & Salesforce joint customers to add and leverage metadata in Salesforce
Cascading policies describe how metadata instances applied to a folder should be applied to any item within that folder. For example, a user might assign the same invoiceData metadata template to a project folder allowing it to automatically apply to all the files and folders within that project folder.
To use this feature, the most recent version of Box for Salesforce needs to be installed from the Salesforce Appxchange listing.
