Issue

When clicking Delete All to remove folders from the trash, an error may occur with the following message: “We could not perform this action because the designated folder is locked by another operation.”

Root Cause

Clicking Delete All for the trash will simultaneously delete all the folders or files in the Trash.

If the trash contains parent-child folders, the system will attempt to delete the parent folder while the deletion of its child folder is still in progress. This prevents locking the parent folder and results in an error.

Resolution

If the trash contains parent-child folders, you can delete them in the following two ways:

• Delete child folders first, then click Delete All again to remove the remaining folders.

• Instead of Delete All, select specific folders or files to delete individually.
