To help you maintain your enterprise's security posture, Box enables you to control whether your account holders can grant access to Box Support for troubleshooting. This feature is available for Business plan and above.
By default, your account holders are allowed to grant access to Box Support for troubleshooting activities, as described here. So, if you wish to continue to allow access, you needn’t make any changes in your admin console. When an account holder grants access, Box Support has access to the account for five days. The account holder can revoke access at any time.
When you prevent access, Box Support is unable to send requests to your account holders to access their accounts during troubleshooting activities.
To prevent account holders from granting access to Box Support for troubleshooting:
- In your admin console's left menu bar, click Enterprise Settings.
- At the top of the Enterprise Settings page, click User Settings.
- Scroll down to the Diagnostic Settings section.
- Under Box Support Access, clear Allow users to grant (limited) access for Box Support for Troubleshooting. When you later want to restore access, check this option.
- At the top of window, click Save.
