Box customers that have gone through a verification process are eligible for Box Verified Enterprise. By becoming Verified, Box customers are granted access to use a different network subdomain (e.g., companyname.ent.box.com), which is different from the subdomain used by unpaid users, trial accounts, and Box customers that have not gone through the verification process. A major benefit of using the enterprise network subdomain is that companies can use network-level controls inside their network to distinguish traffic from verified and not verified Box accounts.
Contact your Box Customer Success Manager to receive more information about Box Verified Enterprise.
Box Verified Enterprise supports all official Box applications and integrations.
m.box.com is not available in China.
Note about SFDC Integration:
If you are on the same major version of the salesforce integration, then salesforce auto-updates, but if there is a different major version then the admin must click to update. For example, 3.48.1 --> 3.49.1 will not auto-upgrade but 3.49.1-->3.49.4 will auto upgrade). Customers need to be on 3.49.0 or higher, or Box Verified will break.
Third Party Application Support
|Third-party apps that use Box APIs will be given an updated OAuth URL (i.e., account.box.com/api/oauth2 rather than app.box.com/api/oauth2) that will redirect to the appropriate subdomain (app.box.com or ent.box.com) to receive the auth_code. This will result in similar behavior as logging into the Box web app.
Note that 3rd party apps can continue to use the old OAuth URL, but it will not take advantage of the enterprise subdomain.*
