As a troubleshooting step for Box Drive on Windows, Box Product Support may request that you enable debug logging. This can be done by doing the following:
- Open the Windows Registry Editor (Regedit).
- Create the following registry key (or edit if it already exists):
Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Box\Box
Name: LogLevel
Value: Debug
Type: REG_SZ - Quit and restart Box Drive so that the change in configuration takes effect.
- Reproduce the issue
- Follow the steps: Submit Box Drive logs
- (Optional) After submitting logs, you may change the value of the registry key you created in step #2 from "Debug" to "Info" to revert the change made in step 2 and then, restart Box Drive to disable debug logging.
